Many of our issues, transition or otherwise, seem to stem from a loss of purpose or mission once we are discharged. Even many years later, it can be difficult for us to find much satisfaction in just having a job. After all, we were once "on the frontlines," whether literally or figuratively, and simply bringing home a paycheck just doesn't have quite the same savor. AND we were once part of a team, brothers and sisters whom we could rely on.
